Do you have any plans to release an iPad version?
ReplyDeleteI have played over 1300 games at advanced on my Android phone and would like to try a larger screen version.
Hi Rich, you can actually play it on your iPad as well currently, but it is not designed from the ground up for iPad, yet. I have updated the post to read properly. Go ahead and try it out on your iPad and let us know what you think.
ReplyDeleteHow come on my iphone i cannot connect to the multiplayer server while my GF on her android phone has no problem whatsoever? I have also tried using 3G and Wireless to connect and I am constantly having problems connecting especially these last few days... Anyone else having problems with their iphone and playing online?
ReplyDeleteHey Seb, we have had some reports of similar problems to you and not just on iPhones but also on some Android devices as well. We have found the cause to some of the issues, which are primarily based around an increased activity on our servers over the past few days and weeks which have gone beyond the limits of our current server unfortunately. We are working hard over this weekend to stand up a new and much more powerful server which should solve this specific problem for everyone. Thanks for your patience as we work through this, and as always you can contact us at support@fullersystems.com should you ever have any problems.
ReplyDeleteI like to know how I can play 2 complete games and have a king dealt for every hand. Sounds like a fixed game to me.
ReplyDeleteHi "Fusionworks1", we have done some significant studies on randomness and the deck used in our game, and you can read more about that here:
ReplyDeletehttp://blog.fullersystems.com/2010/07/cribbage-pro-shuffling-deck.html
It is theoretically possible that every hand has a king for a few games even in a perfectly randomized deck of cards. Remember that there are 4 king cards in a deck of 52. If you divide by 4 you get 1 king card for every 13 cards, and every hand that is played involves 13 cards (6 to the dealer, 6 to the pone and 1 that is cut). Your odds of seeing a king on a very regular basis are quite good. This is not unique to your "king" example obviously. Your odds of seeing any type of card relatively regularly from time to time is not that unusual, and it simply shifts slowly over time in a good randomized shuffle (assuming you are not seeing the exact same card - say the king of hearts - every single hand for two games). We go into more detail of this in our blog post mentioned above, but if you have any other questions, just let me know.
Thanks,
Josh
Well I sure don't see 5,8,7 the same if it were random one would expect to to that carry over. It doesn't
